What do you give to someone who has everything? Ordinarily, that question is about someone who seems to have every material item a person could want. But what about men who’ve found everything in Christ & given up so much to enter the seminary? How do we support these men once they answer that call? There are generous young men in our area who are currently discerning God’s call to be His priests. Openness & willingness to answer the call takes divine grace & great sacrifice. The courage to offer their lives & allow Christ to use them to bear His love to the world for the salvation of mankind is nothing short of heroic. These seminarians need encouragement & support of prayer & sacrifice to assist them as they prepare for this incredible challenge, especially during these times. Please consider spiritually adopting a seminarian preparing for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Spiritually adopting a seminarian is very simple. First, just pick a prayer card off the table in the church vestibule. The prayer card will include the name of our seminarian. Please offer to God prayers &/or sacrifices on their behalf. Here are a few suggestions of things you can do for our adopted seminarian: Pray the Rosary; Offer Holy Communion or Masses for them; Make visits to the Blessed Sacrament or Adoration Chapel to pray for them; Offer to God your little (or big) sacrifices & sufferings for their sanctification! Hope you will consider being a part of this wonderful ministry.
