The parish Holy Name Society, a service organization for men of the parish, invite you a “Meet and Greet” on Sunday, 5 November 2023 following the 8:00 am Mass. Breakfast will be served in the Cafeteria and we offer an opportunity to come and see what we are about, meet new people and help with service to the parish community. Throughout the year we assist with parish activities such as: Saint Patty’s Night Party, Fall Festival, Visitation Program, Healing Mass, Valentine’s Day Mass, Corpus Christi Celebration, Communion Breakfast, Monthly meetings and parish updates, socialization events including outings, poker nights, etc. Contact Us if you have any questions: Steve McDevitt, Michael Tatman, Dave Simek, or call parish office to sign up – (215) 672-7280.
All are invited to the annual parish Mass of Remembrance on Sunday, 5 November 2023 at 11:00 am. This Mass offers an opportunity to pray for all who have died and in particular those who have been buried from our parish in the past year. These deceased family and friends will be remembered by name within Mass.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
On 2 November each year, the Church offers Mass in Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, a day of remembrance and prayer. Mass will be offered for all the faithful departed at 8:45am and 7:00pm. Mass, prayer and sacrificial acts of charity of the living assist the faithful departed experiencing Purgatory.
World Homeless Day brings individuals together to find ways to change the lives of homeless people in our community. Please join us on Friday, 6 October 2023 for a Prayer Service in church at 6:00pm.
After the service, all are invited to the cafeteria to help us package SNACK BAGS for those less fortunate. Donations of fruit bars, pop tarts, small juice boxes etc. are needed. These items will be delivered to those experiencing homelessness. Many Homeless Shelters need warm blankets. If you can knit or sew that would be an extra loving gift.
If you are not able to attend this event, please consider dropping off your donation at the Parish Center during normal business hours or bring your donation to the Fall Festival & drop it off at the Welcome Tent).
